How do I dispose of my old door?

Everlift Garage Doors can safely and properly remove your existing old door or motor and dispose when replacing the product.

Can my carport have a Garage Door install?

In most cases your existing carport can be converted with a Roller or Sectional Garage Door.

Can you put a Motor on my existing Garage Door?

Yes, if your existing door is in good working order and has sufficient clearance to fit the systems. Everlift Garage Doors can provide you with a free quotation

Do you have replacement Remote hand transmitters?

Yes, we have a wide range of remote control transmitters, receivers, P.E beams and other accessories. Note: Transmitters are not pre-coded to your motor so all transmitters will need to be coded into your motor.Everlift Garage Doors scan also assist you if required help to code them in.

What is there is a power outage, can I still open/close my Garage Door?

All Remote control systems supplied and installed by Everlift Garage Doors have a manual override. At time of installation, we show you how to use the products and what to do if there is an outage. We also recommend that any motorised Garages that have no other exits (such as a pedestrian door) are fitted with an external key lock product. This will ensure that you are always able to gain access to the Garage from the outside in power outages.

How often should I have my Garage Door and Motor serviced?

Everlift Garage Doors recommend that servicing of Garage Doors and Remote control systems should take place every twelve to eighteen months. Weather, environment (corrosion sea air) and general wear can cause issues with the mechanics of Doors. Can I look after the product myself?

Everlift Garage Doors encourages that all our clients perform a health check on your products. A regular visual inspection can easily be performed by most people. Firstly, Stand inside the garage with the garage door closed. Look over the garage door springs, cables, rollers, pulleys and mounting hardware, such as hinges, for signs of wear or damage. Look for cable wear or fraying. Is the mounting hardware becoming loose? If you have a remote control system, disengage it and operate the door in a manual mode.

Is the door easy to lift and close? Check for any insects or water damage that could cause any unnecessary corrosion or electrical faults. Re-engage the motor and watch the opening & closing sequence. If the closing force is excessive or the door re-opening once closed, please contact Everlift Garage Doors.
